Kuwait ranks 4th at Fazza wheelchair basketball tourney

DUBAI, May 20 (KUNA) - Kuwait's national team lost their last game to Morocco's 44-71 at the the Seventh Fazza International Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, Dubai 2015, Wednesday evening.
The result of the game put the Kuwaiti team, the defending champion, at the fourth place while Morocco came third.
Head of the Kuwaiti mission Khalif Al-Qahs attributed the retreat of the team to the participation of stronger teams in the competition such as the German, the Thai, the Moroccan and the Australian teams.
In the semi-final competitions Kuwait lost to Thailand and Morocco lost to Germany.
Therefore, Germany will face Thailand at the final later tonight. (end) hny.gb
