Former MP Waleed Al-Tabtabai arrested - Interior Ministry

KUWAIT, May 1 (KUNA) -- The Interior Ministry on Friday said former lawmaker Waleed Al-Tabtabai was arrested upon an order from the Public Prosecution for spreading false news on internal situation and offending the post of the Crown Prince on one of the social media websites.
The former MP will be referred to the Public Prosecution for interrogation, the Ministry's Public Relations and Security Media Department said in a statement. (end) amn.tab.msa
