RIYADH, April 30 (KUNA) -- The foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states met here on Thursday in preparation for the forthcoming 15th GCC consultative summit.
Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah is leading the Kuwaiti delegation partaking in the meeting.
The Kuwaiti delegation includes several senior officials of the Foreign Ministry.
During their meeting, presided over by Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid Al-Attiyah, the GCC foreign ministers will discuss a host of vital issues and subjects aiming to further bolster and consolidate cooperation and coordination among the six GCC members.
They will also consider the latest Arab, regional and international developments, primarily the Yemeni crisis and terror risks to regional security and stability.
Prospective recommendations are to be presented to the GCC leaders for further discussions during their consultative meeting due in Riyadh on May 5. (end) yms.mt
