GCC states seek unified terror blacklist - Al-Fahad

DOHA, April 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahad has revealed that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states are seeking to issue a unified terror blacklist.
Al-Fahd made the statement to KUNA on Monday on the sidelines of the 7th meeting of the GCC Interior Ministries Undersecretaries in Doha.
Leading the Kuwaiti delegation to the gathering, Al-Fahd added that they had discussed security measures and arrangements to prevent attempts by any GCC citizen to join terrorist groups in conflict areas like Syria, Iraq and Libya.
The meeting also agreed to support Brigadier Khaled Al Attiya for a third term as head of the Arab Police Sport Federation (APSF), Al-Fahd said.
In addition, the undersecretaries discussed topics on the meeting agenda and reviewed reports on previous meetings, he told KUNA.
Qatar's Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani discussed with the GCC undersecretaries issues relevant to security and safety of the Gulf citizens. (pick up previous) nnd.msa
