KUWAIT, April 27 (KUNA) -- Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait Dr. Mohammad Al-Hashel announced on Monday adding new information to the CBK bulletin, including key indices on the Kuwaiti banks' financial safety.
Al-Hashel told KUNA the indices cover asset quality, capitalization, liquidity, earnings and operations' efficiency, adding that release of broader information about the sector is aimed at boosting transparency, updating financial and statistical data. This is also as part of the CBK keenness on financial stability, in shadow of the international financial crisis that broke out in 2008.
The bank will continue to update such information and data to help those concerned understand better conditins in the banking sector. (end)
