Two corona cases in Kingdom past week -- ministry

RIYADH, April 26 (KUNA) -- Two corona cases were reported in Al-Hofoof and Riyadh over the past week, the Saudi Ministry of Health said on Sunday.
Saudi Press Agency quoted Dr. Abdelaziz Bin Said, the head of the command and control department, as saying that despite noticeable drop in these cases, extraordinary precautions against the virus will remain in place.
Up to 1,008 cases have been examined at the MoH laboratories, he said adding that 550 patients have been cured -- out of the total number of 981 cases.
The disease broke out in the kingdom in 2012. (end) od.rk
