CAIRO, April 21 (KUNA) -- Zakat House Director General Ibrahim Al-Saleh expressed his institution's readiness to offer all support to the newly-minted Egyptian Zakat (Alms) House.
In statements to KUNA Tuesday on the sidelines of his participation in the fourth meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptians Zakat House, Al-Saleh underlined the Kuwaiti Zakat House's keenness to render the Egyptian counterpart a success.
To achieve this goal, he emphasized the need for developing a comprehensive strategy to increase the resource of the Egyptian charitable institution.
He lauded the important role of the House in offering help and improving the economic conditions of thousands of needy people in Egypt.
Al-Saleh noted that the Board of Trustees meeting has discussed various issues relevant to the alms giving, especially identifying the most vulnerable and most deserved beneficiaries. (end)
