Kuwait's Real estate drops by 27 percent in Q1 2015 -- report

KUWAIT, April 20 (KUNA) -- Real estate trades in Kuwait dropped by 27 percent in Q1 2015 compared to Q4 2014, according to a specialized economic report released on Monday.
Statistics of the real estate registration department at the Ministry of Justice showed that real estate trades dropped by KD 347 million, with a total rate of KD 956 million for Q1 2015, said Mudon Ahlia Real Estate Company.
Meanwhile, the trades recorded KD 1.303 billion in Q4 2014, while in the time period from January first to 31st March 2015 the number totaled KD 895 million.
As for the transactions rate, the report noted that it had decreased by 692 transaction (28 percent), reaching 1,755 transaction, compared to 2,447 in 2014.(end) mjb.tb.ag
