Kuwaiti, Saudi top officials discuss developments in region

RIYADH, April 19 (KUNA) -- Visiting Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah discussed with Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Mohammed ben Nayef the latest developments in the region, especially in Yemen.
The two sides also considered the brotherly relations between the two countries and a number of issues of mutual interest, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, President of the Royal Court and Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as well as a number of officials, it added.
The Deputy Crown Prince held a luncheon banquet in honor of the visiting Kuwaiti ministers and their accompanying delegation.
Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled and Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah arrived here earlier on Sunday for a single-day visit to the Kingdom. (pick up previous) yms.hm
