RIYADH, April 18 (KUNA) -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has ordered allocation of USD 274 million worth of aid for Yemen.
The Royal Court, in a statement issued late on Friday, said, "In response to the humanitarian needs of the brotherly Yemeni people included in the United Nations appeal dated on 17/04/2015, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has issued his order to allocate an amount of USD 274 million for humanitarian relief works in Yemen through the United Nations." "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stresses its stand fully by the brotherly people of Yemen, and prays to Allah Almighty to restore security and stability to sisterly Yemen." (end) rk
