KUWAIT, April 16 (KUNA) -- Mexican Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Carlos de Icaza has held a meeting with the Arab ambassadors to Mexico, discussing developments on the Arab arena especially the Palestinian and Yemeni affairs.
In a statement received by KUNA, on Thursday, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Mexico Samih Johar Hayat said the talks reviewed Arab efforts to address risks posed to the Arab nation, including fight against spread of all forms of terrorism.
The Arab ambassadors, during the meeting, presented their views about developments on the Arab and Mexican arenas and ways to strengthen Mexican-Arab cooperation in all fields, the statement added.
It pointed to a three-day official visit by Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Americas Affairs Ambassador Mohamed Farid Munib to the Mexican capital where he met with senior officials.
Ambassador Munib explained, during the meeting, resolutions of the Arab summit recently held in Egypt, particularly with regard to a proposal to form a joint Arab force to face and deter regional threats. (end) nbs.ss
