SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt, April 15 (KUNA) -- Governor of Egypt's South Sinai Khaled Fouda honored on Wednesday Head of the Kuwait Association for the Ideal Family and Ambassador of Arab Women Investors Sheikha Fariha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
This came on sidelines of the second day of the 17th Arab Investment Conference and Exhibition themed "Arab Investment, Common Challenges and International Cooperation), which is organized by the Arab Women Investors Union.
In a statement to KUNA, Fouda underlined the significance of Sheikha Fariha's participation in the event, which runs until April 17, saying it includes a large number of Arab women investors.
He affirmed the solidness and depth of relations between Kuwait and Egypt, revealing that his governorate will soon sign a twinship protocol with Jahra Governorate in Kuwait.
For her part, Sheikha Fariha told KUNA that the association exerts huge efforts aiming at upgrading the society; family, mother and child.
She dedicated the honoring to the Kuwaiti leadership and people.
Sheikha Fariha earlier noted that the conference opens new horizons for pan-Arab investment and increases the national product and the exchange of experiences to use them in the areas of health, education, industry, tourism and science as well as others.
The Arab Women Investors Union's Chairperson Huda Yassi, meanwhile, said that Sheikha Fariha was honored due to her prominent role in development and economy.
Among the goals of the event are to attract Arab investors abroad and encourage them to transfer their investments to the region as well as create an industrial partnership between Arab female and male investors in collaboration with international experts. (Pickup previous) msh.hm
