KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 (KUNA) -- Malaysia is eager to share its economic experience with Kuwait to enable it to further develop, said former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad Tuesday.
Speaking to KUNA during his visit to Kuwaiti Ambassador to Malaysia Saad Al-Asoosi, the former Prime Minister said that the upcoming conference for leadership during times of turmoil in Kuwait next May will be the perfect venue to share Malaysia's two decades of rapid economic development experience.
Mohammad took the chance to laud Kuwait's global humanitarian stance, affirming that he was looking forward to partake in the upcoming conference.
Mathahir bin Mohammad, who held the Prime Minister position in Malaysia for a period of 22 years from 1981-203, was the main political figure that drove Malaysia's economic growth and modernization during his tenure. (end) mam.gta
