SINGAPORE, April 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahad, accompanied by a high-level delegation, partook on Monday in the opening of Interpol World venue held in Singapore, with the participation of Interior Ministers and senior security officials from International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) 190 member countries.
Ambassador of Kuwait to Singapore Yaqoub Al-Sanad said in remarks to KUNA on Monday that Lieut. Gen. A-Fahad, accompanied by senior officials at the Ministry, participated in the opening of the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI), located in Marina Bay area.
The Interior Ministry's delegation headed by Lieutenant General Al-Fahad held meetings with the head of the German participating delegation to discuss means of activating the previously signed bilateral agreements between both countries, including the security cooperation agreement.
Interpol Secretary General tackled on his speech in the opening of the event various types of electronic crimes and means to face them, besides other vital issues, the diplomat said.
The INTERPOL World Expo will be launched tomorrow as bring an exhibition that serves as a business and networking platform for manufacturers, distributors and organizations offering innovative solutions to international police organizations, governments and security professionals. (end) mam.lb
