BEIRUT, April 11 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) continued Saturday to hand out humanitarian aid to some 350 Syrian refugee families in some areas in eastern Lebanon.
Head of the KRCS' mission in Lebanon Dr. Musaed Al-Eenzi told KUNA that the aid, which involved foodstuffs, cleaning tools and fuel, is part of the KRCS's relief campaign that covers at least 5,000 Syrian refugee families living in different areas in Lebanon.
The aim of this aid is to alleviate the suffering of refugees who are living amid difficult living circumstances and tough climate, he said.
He added that the KRCS is exerting huge efforts to meet necessary and pressing needs of Syrian refugees, noting that the society provides bread and medical supplies of dialysis.
The KRCS had distributed more humanitarian aid to some Syrian refugee families living in several areas in Mount Lebanon.
Earlier today, the KRCS delivered relief aid to some 900 Syrian refugee families in Jordan. (end) ayb.hm
