Minister of Health Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi with South Korean counterpart Moon Hyung-pyo
KUWAIT, April 10 (KUNA) -- Minister of Health Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi has held talks with his South Korean counterpart Moon Hyung-pyo, in Seoul, on expertise exchange in the health sector between the two countries, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
Minister Al-Obaidi has paid a visit to South Korea, in response to an invitation from Minister Hyung-pyo, taking part in an international medical conference in the capital Seoul, April 8-10. He addressed the convention, attended by doctors, specialists and dignitaries including the State of Kuwait Ambassador to the nation, Jassem Al-Bedaiwi.
Dr. Al-Obaidi, during the visit, has visited two hospitals, examining employed technology and treatment methods for some diseases, namely cancer, in addition to human organs' transplants.
The minister was accompanied, during the mission, by a delegation grouping a number of ministry officials. (end)
