KUWAIT, March 29 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) closed up on Sunday with all the three main indexes edging up, making up for sharp losses it sustained last week.
The Price Index, Weighted Index and Kuwait 15 Index close up 6322.7 points, 9.3 points and 27.4 points respectively.
As many as 186.05 million shares valued at KD 15.7 million were traded in a total of 4,540 transactions.
The top volume stocks were ADNC, GFH, MAYADEEN, SAFRE and ALTIJARIA, while the top gainers were ALAQARIA, INVESTORS, CABLE, MANAFAE and TAAMEER.
The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended last week's trading with sharp losses involving all the three main indexes, with the Price Index having dipped 154 points, due to concerns over the current situation in Yemen.
Kuwaiti stocks ended Thursday's session in the red zone, as the Weighted Index shed 10.13 points to reach 423.64 points, the Price Index dipped 154.03 points to read 6,222.46 and the Kuwait 15 Index lost 26.68 points to stand at 1,018.34 points. (end) mka.hb.mt
