USD stable vis-a-vis Kuwaiti dinar trading at KD at 0.299

KUWAIT, March 29 (KUNA) -- The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Kuwaiti dinar has remained stable trading at KD 0.299, the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) said on Sunday.
The CBK, in a statement posted on its website, said the euro dropped to KD 0.326, compared to the past week rate. Meanwhile, sterling pound rose to KD 0.445, the Swiss franc remained unchanged at KD 0.311, with the Japanese yen following suit, standing at KD 0.002.
The US dollar has resumed rising vis-a-vis the other hard currencies following a recent meeting by the American Federal Reserve Board that adopted a wait-and-see attitude regarding the interest rates' status, in shadow of slower economic growth in the US and prevalent inflation.
The single European currency has rallied amid positive reports about Germany's economy, the largest economy in Europe. (end) mfs.hb.rk
