Arab trilateral meeting stresses summit significance

SHARM EL-SHEIKH, March 28 (KUNA) -- The leaders of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Yemen emphasized here on Saturday that the 26th Arab Summit should come up with the aspired outcomes in order to fulfill the expectations and hopes of the Arab people.
This was announced by Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency Ambassador Alaa Yusuf in a press statement following a trilateral meeting of Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi and Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The trilateral meeting was held on the sidelines of the 26th Arab Summit held in Egypt's Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh.
He quoted the Egyptian president as reiterating Egypt's staunch support for Arab rights, and its effective contribution to protecting Arab countries and people.
During the meeting, Al-Sisi said the Arab Summit comes at a very critical time when the Arab world is facing major challenges, primarily the current situation in Yemen.
"Such developments have required concerted efforts and unified ranks in the framework of the 'Operation Decisive Storm' in order to restore the stability and security of the Yemeni people," Al-Sisi added. (end) ms.rg.mt
