JEDDAH, March 28 (KUNA) -- Saudi Minister of Defence and President of Kingdom Royal Court Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz discussed bilateral ties with Sweden Special Envoy and Former Defence Minister Bjorn Gustaf von Sydow bilateral relations, in Riyadh late last night.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said the two sides discussed conversations they had in previous phone calls regarding comments made by Sweden Foreign Minister Margot Wallstroem against the kingdom.
Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia recalled its ambassador from Sweden after Wallstroem made comments regarding a court verdict against Raef Badawi.
The kingdom considered her comments as interference into the kingdom's internal affairs prohibited by international law and diplomatic norms. (end)
