UNHRC adopts resolutions in favour of Palestinians

GENEVA, March 27 (KUNA) -- The UN Human Rights Council voted in favour of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination on Friday.
The majority vote was cast by 45 in favour, with only the United States against, along with one abstention.
The Council also adopted texts on human rights on Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in the occupied Syrian Golan, adopted by a vote of 45 in favour, 1 against and 1 abstention.
It also adopted a text on the human rights situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, adopted by a vote of 43 in favour, 1 against and 3 abstentions.
