Central Bank issues monthly report

KUWAIT, March 25 (KUNA) -- Central Bank of Kuwait Governor Dr. Mohammad Al-Hashel said on Wednesday that the bank issued its monthly statistical report, including chronology of major national economic events since 40 years ago.
Al-Hashel told KUNA the edition will be a useful reference for researchers and any one concerned with economic, banking or financial affairs.
The CBK regularly updates its data references and basis. The new edition includes figures about the CBK assets, budgets of local banks and investment companies.
It also includes information about commissions on monetary trades, particularly those via ATM machines, interest rate of banks' deposits, rate of the Kuwaiti dinar, currencies of other GCC countries, vis a vis major currencies.
