RIYADH, March 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah here on Thursday praised the outcome of his visit to Saudi Arabia.
In a pre-departure statement to KUNA, Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah said that he held talks with Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, President of the Royal Court and Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on several issues of common concern.
The talks also focused on promoting military cooperation under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah said, adding he congratulated Prince Mohammad bin Salman on being named as Ministry of Defense.
Sheikh Khaled noted that he invited officially Prince Mohammad bin Salman to visit Kuwait as soon as possible to follow up the issues of mutual concern and GCC that discussed in Riyadh.
Sheikh Khaled expressed his gratitude to Saudi officials for their warm reception, wishing the kingdom security and stability under King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, and Deputy Premier Muqrin bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Mohammad bin Nayef.
