Corrected repeat

CAIRO, March 6 (KUNA) -- At least seven children were killed and 26 others injured in a train-bus collision on Friday on a highway in northern Egypt, police and health officials said.
The collision occurred at an unauthorized railway crossing on the Cairo-Ismailiya desert road, police said, adding that the bus had failed to stop at the crossing.
26 children were wounded in the accident, nine of them were in critical condition, Health Ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel-Ghaffar told KUNA.
Deadly train and vehicle accidents are common in Egypt, and some have sparked protests amid allegations of government negligence in enforcing traffic safeguards. (end) aff.hm
