Kuwaiti crude oil slightly down to USD 53.60

KUWAIT, March 6 (KUNA) -- Price of Kuwait's crude oil saw a slight drop of USD 0.20 to USD 53.60 per barrel in Thursday's trades, compared to USD 53.80 pb on Wednesday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Friday.
The decline was the result of a rise in the US dollar over the past two days, after tensions in Iraq and Libya led prices up over the past period, as well as a Saudi decision to raise prices of the Kingdom's crude to Asia.
On the world markets, US crude for delivery in April added 14 cents on Friday to USD 50.90 a barrel. (end) fnk.msa
