Jordan's King to visit Brussels, Strasbourg

AMMAN, March 6 (KUNA) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan starts on Sunday a working visit to Brussels, Belgium, and Strasbourg, France, for talks with European and NATO officials.
In Brussels, the first leg of the two-country tour, King Abdullah will discuss with Prime Minister Charles Michel means to bolster bilateral ties, an official statement said. They will also address latest developments in the Middle East and the world.
The King and the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will discuss forging closer bilateral ties.
In France, King Abdullah will deliver a keynote address at the headquarters of the European Union (EU) in Strasbourg, to highlight his vision on the major issues and challenges facing the Middle East, mainly the war against terrorism and the efforts to enhance security and stability in the region, the statement noted.
The King's talks with top EU officials will focus on bilateral and latest developments in the Middle East. (end) ab.msa
