Tunisia hails Kuwait for "opening doors" for workers

TUNIS, March 5 (KUNA) -- Tunisia's Employment Minister Ziad Ladhari has hailed Kuwait for "opening its doors" for Tunisians, underlining "the fruitful cooperation" between the countries.
The minister made the remarks during a meeting with the general rapporteur of the Kuwaiti-Tunisian businessmen chamber, Salman Al-Fahdli, held late on Wednesday. Minister Ladhari affirmed his government's keenness on boosting the mutual cooperation further particularly in the labor sector, and urged Kuwaiti entrepreneurs to invest in his country.
For his part, Al-Fadhli affirmed that Kuwait needed the "skilled Tunisian laborers," particularly during execution of mega development projects, value of which amounts to USD 800 billion.
Number of Tunisians working in Kuwait is estimated at 4,000. (end) aly.nbs.rk
