Saudi Arabia, S. Korea sign cooperation agreements in Riyadh

RIYADH, March 3 (KUNA) - Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud held official discussions Tuesday with visiting President Park Geun-hye of South Korea, official media reported.
The two sides addressed bilateral relations, cooperation aspects between the two countries in all areas, and ways to develop and boost these aspects for mutual interests of both countries, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Following their discussions, the two countries signed a cooperation agreement on naval transportation, and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on nuclear cooperation to build smart partnership and joint construction for human nuclear capabilities, scientific research, and cooperation in creative economy.
The discussions session and agreements signing ceremony were attended by Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz and a number of ministers and senior officials for the Saudi side, and President's Park Geun-hye's accompanied delegation for the South Korean side.
Meanwhile, the South Korean President met later with the Crown Prince, during which they discussed bilateral relations and situation developments on regional and international arenas.
During the meeting, Crown Prince Muqrin welcomed President Park Geun-hye and wished her a pleasant stay in the Kingdom, pointing out depth of relations between the two countries in various fields. (pickup previous) od.ma
