BERLIN, March 3 (KUNA) -- German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Tuesday nuclear negotiations with Iran have "achieved a noticeable progress" this year, which was not materialized in 10 years.
"The negotiations of the P5+1 with Iran are taking place on a good path and the big progress we achieved this year we failed to achieve in the past 10 years," Steinmeier said in a statement, released by the Foreign Ministry.
"We are implementing the interim agreement that was signed in Geneva in 2013," said Steinmeier, currently in Geneva to participate in the nuclear talks.
Foreign Ministers of the five permanent UN Security Council (UNSC) members plus Germany are negotiating with their Iranian counterpart over a permanent agreement. (end) anj.bs
