USD stable against KD at 0.296

KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) -- The exchange rate of the US Dollar against the Kuwaiti Dinar was stable on Monday exchanging at KD 0.296, and the Euro stabilized at KD 0.331 compared to Sunday's exchange rates, said the daily bulletin of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) today.
The Sterling Pound exchange went down to KD 0.456, while the Swiss Franc stabilized at KD 0.310 and the Japanese Yen as well, at KD 0.002.
The dollar increased compared to major currencies following issuance of positive US economic data.
Meanwhile, the euro dropped due to doubts related to Greek-European negations which resulted in the euro-zone approval of extending the Greek rescue plan. (end) mfs.aas.lb
