Kuwait, Pakistan mull military ties

KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- The Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al-Khoder and visiting Pakistani Chief of the Naval Staff Muhammad Zakaullah discussed a number of topics of common concern, notably military ones.
The two sides also reviewed the ways and means of promoting and developing relations between the two countries, Kuwait's Ministry of Defense Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations said in a press statement on Sunday.
Lieutenant General Al-Khoder received on Sunday Zakaullah and Pakistani Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Aslam Khan, it added.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lieutenant General Abdullah Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah and other senior officials at the ministry. (end) hmd.nfa.hm
