Info. Min., foreign envoys hold talks on promoting relations

KUWAIT, Feb 18 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah held talks here on Wednesday with some accredited ambassadors to Kuwait on relations and ways of promoting them between Kuwait and their countries.
During the meeting, the minister discussed with Italian Ambassador to Kuwait Fabrizio Nicoletti a number of topics of common concern, especially those related to the youth, media and cultural fields, the ministry said in a press statement issued on Wednesday.
Sheikh Salman and Canadian Ambassador Martine Moreau also thrashed out some themes of mutual interest in the same fields, it said, adding both sides expressed their satisfactions with development of bilateral relations.
The statement also noted the Kuwaiti official held talks with ambassadors of Ukraine Vladimir Tolqatch and Serbia's Vladimir Kohut on common concern of bilateral relations and means of consolidating them. (end) mdm.nfa.hm
