KUWAIT, Feb 12 (KUNA) -- A minor fire broke out at south Az-Zour plant, causing small damage to gas turbines, an official at the Ministry of Electricity and water announced here on Thursday.
The Ministry's Assistant undersecretary for power and water distillation plants operation and maintenance engineer Fuad Al-Oun told the press that the fire was brought under control immediately thanks to the swift response of firefighting teams.
He added that no casualties resulted from the accident. (end)
