KUWAIT, Feb 7 (KUNA) -- Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Fourth International Arabian Horse Festival was held Friday night at the Hunting and Equestrian Club with the participation of 565 Arabian horses from 14 countries.
Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah attended the festival on behalf of His Highness the Amir.
The Amir's representative was received upon his arrival by the festival's organizing committee president Sheikh Dr. Ali Nasser Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for the Arabian Horses Affairs Sheikha Sara Fahad Al-Sabah and others members of the committee.
The festival began with the playing of the national anthem and then the horses presented their performances, and finally Sheikh Ali distributed the prizes to the winners. (end) khn.hm
