KUWAIT, Dec 15 (KUNA) -- Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah Monday conferred with the Ambassadors of the five permanent members at United Nations Security Council, addressing international efforts in face of terrorism.
The envoys who took part in the meeting were the US Ambassador Douglas A. Silliman, Alexey V. Solomatin of the Russian Federation, Matthew James Lodge of the UK, Cui Jianchun of the People's Republic of China and ambassador of France Christian Nakhle.
Al-Jarallah and the five ambassadors discussed current international efforts to support Iraq in encountering terrorism, particularly the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL).
The meeting was attended by the Director of International Organizations ambassador Jassim Al Mubaraki and director of Undersectary's office, ambassador Ayham Alumar. (end) ha
