ROME, Dec 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Italy Sheikh Ali Khalid Al-Jaber Al-Sabah discussed with commander of the Carabinieri (the national military police of Italy) Gen. Leonardo Gallitelli the ways to strengthen Kuwaiti-Italian cooperation in the framework of marking the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
Gen. Gallitelli received Ambassador Sheikh Ali Khalid on Thursday in his office where they reviewed distinguished and long relations between the two countries, Kuwaiti Embassy here said in a statement to KUNA.
Ambassador Sheikh Ali and Gen. Gallitelli focused on opportunities of cooperation and benefiting from Carabinieri's expertise, which was established 200 years ago, the statement added, noting that the two sides exchanged souvenirs. (end)
