British PM in Turkey for official visit

ANKARA, Dec 9 (KUNA) - British Prime Minister David Cameron arrived in the Turkish capital Tuesday in an official visit, during which he is to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The British Premier is to discuss with the Turkish leader prevention of British citizens from joining the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), Turkish Premier's office said in a statement.
Discussions are also to include the two countries' bilateral relations, negotiations regarding Turkey's membership at the EU, and the Cypriot issue.
The two sides are also expected to address a number of regional and international issues, particularly situations in Iraq and Syria, the war on ISIL, and current talks between Iran and P5+1 on Tehran's nuclear program. (end) rs.ma
