Al-Zayani says ministerial council submitted set of ecommendations to supreme council

DOHA, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani said in his speech before the 35th GCC summit that the Ministerial Council raised a set of recommendations to the Supreme Council of the GCC leaders for approval.
Al-Zayani said that these projects came as a result of a full year of follow-up work through the various ministerial committees and work teams.
The summit also honored His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as a "Humanitarian Leader" by the UN.
The summit will also look into a number of topics of interest to the GCC states including military, economic and political ones.
The declining oil prices will also cast a shadow on the deliberations of the Gulf gathering. (pick up previous).
