KUWAIT, Dec 2 (KUNA) -- The third national beauty horse contest is due on Thursday, with up to 305 genuine Arabian horses prepared for vying for the crown.
Sheikh Dr. Ali Nasser Al-Ali Al-Sabah, the head of the organizing committee, told KUNA on Tuesday the three-day contest would be patronized by His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Up to 170 horse breeders will partake in the major sports event, the number-two in Kuwait along with His Highness the Amir's contest, held annually. (end)
