Two people killed, 14 injured in Egypt protests

CAIRO, Nov 28 (KUNA) -- At least two people were killed and 14 injured in clashes Fridya between Egyptian security and army forces and Islamist protesters in different governorates.
The two killed are army brigadier and a protest in Matariya district in Cairo, the state news agency (MENA) reported.
Fourteen others injured in clashes across the country, including six policemen whose vehicle were attacked by a home-made bomb.
Friday's limited violence occurred despite heightened security measures taken across Egypt in anticipation of the protests, with security forces deployed in major squares and at key buildings. (end) asm.ibi
