France condemns double-suicide attack in Nigeria

PARIS, Nov 26 (KUNA) -- France on Wednesday condemned a double-suicide attack the previous day in the town of Maiduguri, northeast Nigeria, where at least 45 civilians were killed.
Two suicide bombers infiltrated the town before setting off their explosives in busy areas, causing mayhem and many injuries in addition to the dead.
Nigerian authorities suspect the extremist Islamist group Boko Haram of being behind the attacks that are almost becoming a daily occurrence in this region.
"Those who ordered these odious terrorist attacks must answer for their acts," the French Foreign Ministry said.
"With its African and international partners, France is resolutely at the side of Nigeria in the fight against terrorism," France repeated. (end) jk.mt
