Verdict on freedom of assembly delayed once more

KUWAIT, Nov 26 (KUNA) -- The Constitutional Court on Wednesday postponed till December 10 a verdict on peaceful gathering and freedom of assembly.
The Plenary Court had referred to the Constitutional Court criminal lawsuit No 83/2013 filed by the Public Prosecution against some citizens on constitutionality of article 24 of the criminal law No 31/1970 and articles 12 and 16 of the Public Gatherings Law 65/1979.
The verdict in the lawsuit that bears No 8/2014 was originally slated for 24 September 2014. (end) rkf.gy.gk.msa
