Kuwait seeks to recruit Vietnamese trained labor

KUWAIT, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Board Member Fahad Al-Jouaan stressed here on Tuesday the depth of relations with Vietnam, calling for developing them through recruiting Vietnamese trained labor.
While receiving a visiting Vietnamese delegation of Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs at the KCCI's headquarters, Al-Jouaan said that Vietnamese workers here don't exceed 300, underscoring the necessity of removing obstacles to bring trained and experienced labor.
Implementing projects of development plans requires skilled workers to meet market demand, he said, stressing that these projects are needed in all domains such as construction, energy, transport and infrastructure and others.
The Vietnamese delegation emphasized the strong economic relations between the two countries, pointing out that Vietnam has trained and skilled workers notably in the fields of transport and construction.
It said the ministry does its best to remove all obstacles and challenges to help Vietnamese workers be recruited in the Gulf region as they could play a key role in developing social and economic relations between the two countries.
The delegation's members commended the Kuwait's role in strengthening relations with Asian countries, especially with Vietnam. (end) fnk.gkh.hm
