Parliament speaker heads to Rome

KUWAIT, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim has left for Rome for a four-day official visit to Italy at the invitation of Chairman of the Italian Senate of the Republic and the Upper House Pietro Grasso.
Al-Ghanim and his accompanying delegation will be meeting with Grasso as well as President of the Chamber of Deputies and the Lower House Laura Boldrini and the Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.
The Kuwaiti speaker will also meet Pope Francis and Foreign Minister of the Vatican Cardinal Pietro Gianluca parolin.
The Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation consist of MPs Faisal Al-Shaei, Mubarak Al-Hrais, Dr. Yousef Al-Zalzalah, Faisal Al-Dewaisan, Majid Al-Mutairi, Dr. Mohammad Al-Huwaila, Khalaf Al-Enezi and Abdullah Al-Adwani. (end) sss.jk.mt
