Abbas to inform Arab FMs on latest Palestinian issue developments next Sat. - diplomat

CAIRO, Nov 24 (KUNA) -- Palestine's President Mahmoud Abbas is to take part in an Arab follow-up committee meeting in Cairo next Saturday, during which he is to inform Arab foreign ministers about latest developments on Palestinian arena, a diplomat stated Monday.
Following his participation at the meeting, which is to be chaired by Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Palestinian leader will also take part in an extraordinary meeting of Arab foreign ministers, to be chaired by Mauritanian Foreign Minister Ahmad Ould Teguedi, at League's headquarters on Saturday, Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Jamal Al-Shobky told reporters.
He will address Arab ministers on latest developments regarding the peace process, efforts exerted at the UN Security Council (UNSC) on determining a timeframe to end the Israeli occupation, and efforts exerted at Arab and Islamic levels to stop Israeli hostility against Al-Aqsa Mosque, Al-Shobky, who is also Palestine's Arab League permanent representative, added.
He also noted that Abbas will arrive to Cairo late Thursday for a three-day official visit to the country. (end) mfm.aff.ma
