MOSCOW, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- Russia and the US agreed Friday to double efforts to reach a final and comprehensive deal with Iran over its nuclear program by November 24.
This came during a phone call the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov initiated with US Secretary of State John Kerry, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Lavrov and Kerry, it added, did not rule out a ministerial meeting in near future for the parties taking part in the nuclear negotiations in order to shape-up future steps.
They, meanwhile, called on importance of resuming negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians as well as seeking a peaceful resolution for the Syrian conflict. (end)
