Kuwait calls on Iraq to respond to orphans needs using scientific approach

BAGHDAD, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Iraq Ghassan Al-Zowawi stressed importance Thursday on the need to use a scientific approach through voluntary work and dealing with the needs of orphans and displaced people to ensure long lasting benefit.
Kuwaiti Embassy in Baghdad said in a press release that Al-Zowawi remarks came through his participation in a ceremony hosted by Iraq's Charity Cooperation Society to support Iraqi orphans.
The ambassador expressed appreciation for the humanitarian role played by the society and to their support and care for orphans, stressing that such efforts would have a positive impact on orphans in general.
Al-Zowawi has previously honored similar activities in support of orphans and needy families in Baghdad. (end) ahh.mb
