Kuwaitis 2nd best Arab shooters with 35 medals

DOHA, Nov 18 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti shooters won the second rank in the Arab Shooting Championship that wrapped up competitions in Qatar on Tuesday, with 35 medals; 11 gold, 11 silver and 13 bronze.
In today's competitions, Kuwaiti shooters won the gold medal in trap teams, as well as the gold and silver medals in trap individuals.
Junior Kuwaiti shooters also won a gold medal in teams, and two medals, gold and bronze for individuals.
Following the end of the Championship, chairman of the Arab Shooting Union Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi lauded the performance of the Kuwaiti shooters, who dominated the results, both for teams and individuals.
Talking to KUNA, Al-Otaibi, also chairman of the Kuwait Shooting Federation, stressed the development of the Arab shooters in general, and the Kuwaiti teams in particular. (end) nnd.msa
