KUWAIT, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah discussed on Thursday with the British Secretary of State for Defence Michael Fallon issues of common interest, particularly the military cooperation.
Sheikh Khalid praised the robust bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed desire to further strengthen these ties, the Moral and Guidance Department of the Kuwaiti army said in a statement.
The meeting was attended by Kuwait's Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Mohammad Khaled Al-Khoder and UK Ambassador to Kuwait Matthew Lodge as well as other high ranking military officers from both sides. (end) amn.mb
