KRCS launches new aid project in Lebanese city

BEIRUT, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has launched a project under the name "The Seventh Loaf of Bread" to help feed the displaced Syrians in the city of Sidon in southern Lebanon, said a KRCS official on Thursday.
In keeping with the project's goal, bread and olive oil, among other nutrients, have been distributed to 1000 families of displaced Syrians in Sidon, said KRCS chairman of the social committee affairs Fawzia Al-Nassar, in a statement to KUNA.
A delegation representing the committee has been making rounds on various areas in southern Lebanon, including Tripoli, distributing food packages and clothes to needy displaced Syrians.
